What a striking difference between the ...Hi Jayne! What a striking difference between the two pieces. The same and yet so very, very different. The first thing that struck me was the quilting difference. Maybe it's the lighting but the first I can really SEE the quilting while on the second, it is just quietly there letting the pattern and fabrics carry the load. I would be hard pressed to choose which one I prefer, but simpler piecing would definitely sway my vote.
