It's About Time!

I know!  How many projects can I have laying around until I finally get them finished?

I am the type who would never have more than one quilt going at a time. I was that type. The past several months it seems there are more than I can count!  All in various stages. Most staring at me hoping they are the next one in line!

With all the WIP's, it also seems like I haven't much to show for myself! As far as finishes go.  But alas...there will be an avalanche of actual, real finished pieces very soon!

'Encapsulate' has been on going for a while.  I wrote a post about the process here:

Yesterday I decided it was time to get to business!  I pretty much have a plan on what I want to do. Sort of!  I know that the main center circle will be pretty much quilted using 1/2" lines. (that's something!)

I had a tough time getting the black to look black in the photo.  Trust me...its black!

There is going to be so many threads to bury I'm afraid.

The three sections of this circle are all quilted differently.  I think it's best.  Or maybe I just couldn't wrap my brain around what else to do!

Plus, it looks pretty cool on the back!  And to be honest, it will hopefully tie in to the story of this quilt!

I hope you stay tuned ~ there is more to come!!

    1. I'm hoping this will be the last day of quilting this! Lots of ideas, a few seam ripping moments…but for the most part it's coming along! I certainly will be posting a picture when its finished!

  5. Your quilting looks good. I do that too, end up with a design that requires lots of starts and stops. I just bought a Spiral Eye needle and I hope that makes burying knots easier next time I need to. Looking forward to the finish.
