My Cache ~ AKA Stash

The meaning of 'Stash'.

To hide or store away in a secret place.

A secret place where something is hidden or stored.

Something, such as money or an illegal drug, that has been hidden or stored.

In my opinion, fabric stashed is my drug of choice...fitting!  It's an addiction and we all know that all too well!

This week I caved!  I succumbed to the 'Last Chance' sale at Westwood Acres.  I ended up getting a little bundle of Pearl Bracelet Fat Quarters. And what I really wanted was a bundle of the minis!

But alas, there was this bundle of solids that this girl could not resist! Seriously.  Seven Fat Quarters for just over $1.00 each...Heavenly!

Rounding out my Kaffe Fasset Woven Stripes cache. These just popped up in my Instagram feed (okay, I was looking through the #thegreatfabricdestash feed) and I found myself responding with my PayPal info like I was possessed!

Another IG find.  You can't really tell from the picture, but these are oil cloth.  I adore Heather Bailey's Nicey Jane!  The price was amazing and I needed, wanted, desired to have it!  The skulls & crossbones were on a whim!  Just for the pure fun of it!

    1. At least I'm in good company! One of these days these precious bundles will actually make it in to a quilt (I can hope!)!

    2. I cracked up at that part as well. I did the same thing last week and have some mini charm packs heading my way. :-)

    1. Those I know will become something one day! The hardest part is deciding what that will be!

  4. I hear you on wanting the Pearl Bracelet Minis... I've been resisting temptation. Though I do give in and by Pearl Bracelets whenever I can! And that stack of solids at 1$ a piece!? What a steal!

  5. Loved your post. I also want (not need) pearl bracelet minis, but sadly they are not all that easily available on the west coast of Canada. Hate getting caught by the duty gremlins when I order across the border. Am hopeing to find some of these lovelies when I go to a big quilt show in June.

    1. I find it crazy that postage is so crazy high to Canada. I hope you go get a chance to get them at the show! I'm sure I will cave and eventually get a lovely stack of Mini Pearl Bracelets!

    1. Isn't it though?! I found myself perusing again yesterday, but I restrained myself! It's hard being put in that position!
