How about pink?! I'm either all in or just on the edge. Rachel at Stitched In Color is having a Pink Mosaic Contest. I decided to throw my 'pink' in to the ring...Oh, and by the way, these fabrics are available from Sew Modern!
First up, I decided to go with a bright bold pink. Pairing it with orange was a natural path for me to take. I do love pink and orange together. Its daring, loud and 'in your face'...which I am not! Maybe that's why I like the pairing! You cannot be too shy with this combination!

I like the warm end of the spectrum best of all. Red, yellow, orange, even red violet. And I tend to like them bright and saturated.

DeleteGotta admit, I loathed pink until very recently! Sometime during my college career it won me over--maybe because my roommate is a black-clad pink aficionado. I figure if she can get away with it, it's ok for me to like it. Pink can be so useful! I like it super bright, warm, and saturated, or if it's gotta be subdued, then on the coral end of things is best.
ReplyDeleteThere have been a lot of colors I never liked but do now. Like lime green! Now my favorite color. Even radiant orchid didn't appeal to me at first. Now I do like it!
