Let's spice up the Holiday Table with Pot Holders! I know, they aren't exactly Christmas colors. You could go there or you can save them for after all the festivities are over!
The simplistic log cabin is a favorite for any quilter. With this set, I threw in color galore and the kitchen sink!
You can read more about these pot holders here: Color + Log Cabin = {Pattern} and get the free pattern on Craftsy here: Log Cabin Pot Holders.
The 'logs' vary in width from 1/4" to 1", thick and thin! There is a layer of batting and Insul-bright in the center and for me, the coup de gras is the final color splash of the binding!

ReplyDeleteI loved these potholders when you made them so thanks for the chance to enter. It's always Chocolate and Wine!!
ReplyDeleteOh chocolate and wine . Sorry I can't send you some figgy pudding ! It's a pudding made from fried fruit and figs, some alcohol and bread crumbs and suet, steamed in a saucepan if hot water for about 3 hours . Eaten in U.K. with custard or brandy butter at Christmas
ReplyDeleteLove these! Definitely chocolate and wine! And there is nothing quite like figgy pudding!
ReplyDeleteChocolate and wine.
ReplyDeleteCookies and milk
ReplyDeleteI'll pass on the wine, but the cookies, milk, and chocolate all sound good!
ReplyDeleteChocolate and wine!
ReplyDeletepatsystitch@gvtc.com
Oh my, I don't drink milk or wine. Can I get a pass and say "beer & pretzels"? If not, I'll take the chocolate & wine. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm all for celebrating in style... so wine and chocolate svp!!
ReplyDeleteChocolate and wine, though not at the same time. I've been waiting for this one Jayne, because these are the best color combos I've seen in a long time. I love them!
ReplyDeleteCookies and milk for me!
ReplyDeleteHehe! How bout Cookies and wine? Not much of a milk drinker...and cookies are my sweet of choice(althought the combo doesn't sound so great, does it?) I think these pot holders kinda scream Happy New Year! ;)
ReplyDelete1/4 inch???? Yikes. Cookies and Chocolate please. Milk doesn't agree with me, and I don't like wine. Yes, I said it...I don't like wine. Throw some vodka into the mix, and then we're talking.
ReplyDeletecookies and coffee (don't care for milk either) - or chocolate by itself! I love wine but my acid reflux no longer does :( love these hot pads, I do intend to make some but have not gotten to it still

ReplyDeleteThat's an easy one, chocolate and wine, or skip the chocolate. Figgy pudding, or Christmas pudding is very rich, you could only eat a very small portion. I prefer creme brûlée
