Day 5 :: Giveaway :: 'Bring Us A Figgy Pudding'

Day 5 already?!  I honestly haven't a clue what Figgy Pudding is, but I like the sound of it and it is a good tune!

Let's spice up the Holiday Table with Pot Holders!  I know, they aren't exactly Christmas colors.  You could go there or you can save them for after all the festivities are over!

The simplistic log cabin is a favorite for any quilter.  With this set, I threw in color galore and the kitchen sink!

You can read more about these pot holders here:  Color + Log Cabin = {Pattern} and get the free pattern on Craftsy here:  Log Cabin Pot Holders.

The 'logs' vary in width from 1/4" to 1", thick and thin!  There is a layer of batting and Insul-bright in the center and for me, the coup de gras is the final color splash of the binding!

I know some of you are waiting for that question...the question you must answer to be in the running to win!  Here it is:

Cookies & Milk ❄ or ❄ Chocolate & Wine?

This drawing will stay open until 6PM CST December 11th, at which time I will pick a winner using Random Generator.  I'll email the winners by Monday the 12th.

Sew Mama Sew :: Day 4 of my Week of Giveaways!

This is a double whammy!  When I first decided to host a 'week of giveaways' on my blog I had no idea that the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Event would coincide with my event!

Each year I have tried to participate in the SMS giveaways.  Yes, to get 'me' out there, to expose my blog to others, but also to participate in a blogging event that is like no other.

For those of you who are joining from the Sew Mama Sew event, I have been hosting a week long giveaway as a way to say thank you!

'I don't mention nearly enough how grateful I am to have met so many wonderful people through my blog.  I've been inspired, humbled, thankful and deeply touched by this quilting community and what it stands for.  You guys keep coming back with amazing comments and constant encouragement.'

That's my message, my goal.  So lucky you!!  Not only do you get to enter my giveaway for the SMS event, you can enter my previous post giveaways and the giveaways for the next couple of days!

I know...you want to get to the meat of the post!  The giveaway!  The fabric!  I understand and can totally relate!

My offering, my gift to you is a bundle of seven (7) Fat Eights of the ever popular, ever amazing Alison Glass 'Sun Print' X and Plus!  I know!  It's a beautiful array of color and really...it's Alison Glass!  Why the heck am I giving this away?!  Let's just say I had a moment of 'crazy!  For those of you who know me and my blog...you know I love crazy!

I hope that whoever wins this will actually make something with it!  I jump on some collections, but in the end...I let the languish in my stash!  Please don't do that!  Promise me that you will cut the heck out of these fat eights and do them justice!!

My rules for entering this giveaway will be simple.

Answer this question:

Red or Green?

Simple right?!  Jumping through hoops I don't do.  Well, actually I do but I don't like to!  It's an age thing!  My knees have a lot to say about jumping these days!

For a second chance on winning...you can follow me!  In a separate comment tell me how you follow me.  (it's the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway...there has to be more to it!)

Sew Mama Sew ~ Giveaway Day

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED!  THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!

Welcome to my blog and the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway!  I love participating in the biannual Sew Mama Sew giveaway events each and every year!  It's a great way to find some great blogs, meet new people, have some fun and of course, a chance to win a prize!

First off, if you have never been here before...my name is Jayne.  I've been quilting for ten years now. (boy, does time fly)  I am passionate about quilting, any and kind of quilting. While I tend to veer to the modern side, I also like to swerve to the traditional lane too! Improv is perhaps, my favorite technique.  The fact that there are no rules to follow is what makes it so much fun to me!

Here are a few of my favorite things from this year!

Reclaimed Improv          Pattern Revisited               Threads                  Casual Link

Illusion                   Mini Quilts                       Hand Dyed                     Confetti

Now on to the giveaway!

Gardenvale by Jen Kingwell!

A big bundle of sweet delights!  There are 40 fat eighths (9" x 22") in this collection just waiting for someone to 'whip' up a fantastic quilted master piece!

You gotta love that...right?
