Sew Mama Sew ~ Giveaway Day

Welcome to my blog and the Sew Mama Sew Giveaway!  I love participating in the biannual Sew Mama Sew giveaway events each and every year!  It's a great way to find some great blogs, meet new people, have some fun and of course, a chance to win a prize!


First off, if you have never been here before...my name is Jayne.  I've been quilting for ten years now. (boy, does time fly)  I am passionate about quilting, any and kind of quilting. While I tend to veer to the modern side, I also like to swerve to the traditional lane too! Improv is perhaps, my favorite technique.  The fact that there are no rules to follow is what makes it so much fun to me!

    I love buying gifts for my husband and in addition we fill each other's stockings and sometimes I appreciate little stocking stuffers more than the presents because of the thought that went into it.

    Is there anything better to give a quilter than a coordinated set of 40 fat quarters? I don't think so! Thanks so much for a chance to win. I have 3 grown daughters but I still get excited about buying for them at Christmas. Now that I have 3 little grandchildren, 4, 3, and 10 months, the joy continues as they feel like my own by extension.

    In our family we really do not do much gift giving - the kids all want money or gift cards to buy their own things the only one that appreciates gifts is my oldest daughter so I will say she is it!

    Wow what a great bundle! I am going to answer this question honestly, I don't enjoy buying them for anybody. My husband always gets himself anything he wants or needs, and all the other people I buy gifts for are in their late 30's on up and have overfull houses of things and dont "need anything" I do love doing stockings though, that counts right? ;)
